The route has been designed to allow runners to start and finish in the beautiful city of Lichfield where there is plenty of parking available and access to the many cafes and shops that the city offers. We meet in the race ‘village’ which is in Lichfield’s historic Beacon Park, here you will find a great atmosphere prior to the race, with all you need to prepare.
The 10k race and Fun Run attract a good level of spectators. The 10k route is predominantly on country lanes therefore most spectators are expected at the start/finish area in and adjacent to Beacon Park, there are also likely to be spectators at the halfway point in Chorley. Spectators for the Fun Run can watch at any point on the course.
The cost to run is £23.55 including all fees, which we would ask you to cover, and we would ask runners to aim for a fundraising target of £100 each for Kids’ Village.
