Doug Wright, who has served as High Sheriff for the last year, is also the Chair of Kids’ Village.
Doug Wright said:
Last Wednesday was an unforgettable night at the Holy Trinity Church in Sutton Coldfield! It certainly was my proudest night representing the West Midlands. I had the honour of hosting my High Sheriff End of Year Thanksgiving service, led by my Chaplain Rev’d Canon Becky Stephens. I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful evening in a packed church celebrating excellence in the West Midlands by awarding 35 deserving individuals with High Sheriff Awards! Thank you to everyone who joined us in this beautiful celebration of service and dedication. It really was community cohesion at its very best.
The awards ceremony celebrated highlights in the region, and the legacy of generosity and recognition for those who work tirelessly to support their communities.
