The Royal Sutton Fun Run returned for another year on Sunday 2nd June with almost 5,000 runners including children and dogs for a lengthy, and very hilly, 8.5 mile route.

Crowds watched their families and friends from the sidelines and cheered all running on the day. The Fun Run has been going for more than 40 years and has raised more than £5million for good causes while doing so.
Many runners took this as a challenge for their running experience while others dressed in colourful outfits to raise money for chosen charities. Amongst the throngs of lobsters, leprechauns and elephants, a lion in the shape of Interim CEO of Kids’ Village Paul Faulkner can be seen running with his family all in aid of raising money for Kids’ Village. Alongside them, over 120 people from both the West Midlands McDonalds franchises and Ansons Solicitors also ran the Fun Run for Kids’ Village.
Once runners reached the finish line, they are handed a coveted 2024 Royal Sutton Fun Run medal and could celebrate their achievement with a pint, an ice cream or simply a well-earned rest!
