On December 9th, Kids’ Village had the pleasure of participating in the Severn Trent Derby Office Christmas Fayre, a festive event that brought together staff members to celebrate the holiday season and support charitable causes.
The day was a heartwarming success, thanks to the incredible generosity and collaboration of everyone involved. Highlights included a festive raffle organized by Severn Trent and the option to round up any purchases led by Baxter Storey, the team behind Severn Trent’s catering services. Kids’ Village also had a dedicated presence at the fayre, with a team member on-site selling beautifully designed Christmas cards and sharing information about the charity’s mission to support children and families in need.
The combined efforts of Severn Trent staff, Baxter Storey, and a generous cheque donation from Costco raised an impressive £600 for Kids’ Village. This contribution will directly support the charity’s work to build the first holiday village for critically ill children in the UK.
Katrina Cooke, CEO of Kids’ Village said;
We are incredibly grateful to Severn Trent, Baxter Storey, and Costco for their support, and to all the staff who contributed so generously, the funds raised will make a real difference in getting us to our goal to build Kids’ Village. It was wonderful to see the community come together in such a festive and impactful way.
Kids’ Village would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making the event a success. For more information about Kids’ Village and how you can get involved, please visit www.kidsvillage.org.uk or contact info@kidsvillage.org.uk.
