Kids’ Village are taking part in The Big Give Christmas Appeal and aiming to raise over £15,000 in just 1 week!
We are looking to raise a minimum of £15,000 from the campaign and in order to access the £7,500 we have in the matching pot, we need to raise a minimum of £7,500 in online donations in 7 days from 3rd December.
These funds will be used for the Kids’ Village capital appeal to raise the £5m needed to build Kids’ Village. Online donations to the Kids’ Village Big Give Campaign will be generously matched by our pledgers and the Reed Foundation during the campaign meaning your support is doubled. One donation will give double the impact in supporting critically ill children and their families.
Big Give is a registered charity that runs match funded campaigns for charities and special causes at key moments across the year. When the public donates to a charity through a Big Give campaign, it asks funders (philanthropists, foundations, government departments or corporates) to match that donation. So £50 from a member of the public becomes £100 for a good cause. Big Give has supported more than 10,000 charities and has worked with some of the biggest names in UK philanthropy and charitable grant-making, which provide match funding.
