The Lichfield Running Club met earlier this month to present Kids’ Village Chief Executive Katrina Cooke with a cheque for £1000 from funds raised at the Lichfield 10k event held in Beacon Park in September 2024.
The event saw over 1000 runners take part in the 10k race as well as a shorter family 2k run earlier in the day and Kids’ Village was appointed the charity partner for the event.
Katrina Cooke said,
A huge thank you to John Hutchison, Louise Hinsley and the whole committee from Lichfield Running Club who organised the 10k event. We were thrilled to be involved with the event and the donation will go towards our capital appeal to raise the funds to build Kids’ Village. Thank you!
