‘The Great British Menu for Kids’ Village’ at Upstairs with Tom Shepherd

Forty lucky guests were in attendance at Sunday’s Great British Menu for Kids’ Village event at Upstairs restaurant in Lichfield. The special six course lunch was the menu from chef patron Tom Shepherd’s appearance on the BBC TV show The Great British Menu. As a Kids’ Village Trustee, Tom recreated the menu on Sunday for the charity lunch as well as giving up his time for a special auction prize. In total £18,800 was raised for Kids’ Village.

A massive thank you to our incredible Trustee, Michelin star chef Tom Shepherd and his team at Upstairs Lichfield for hosting an unforgettable exclusive event for Kids’ Village, raising an amazing £18,800! Tom is a best-in-class example of someone using their business success as a force for good to better their community. It was a true delight to enjoy his exquisite six-course feast, featuring his renowned banquet-winning THE Cow Pie from Great British Menu. And to everyone who joined us—your support brings us closer to building the UK’s first respite holiday village for critically ill children and their families. Thank you!
