The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) recently hosted its annual Summer Social, bringing together members for an evening of connection, celebration, and community spirit.
Held in a relaxed and welcoming setting at Orelle Birmingham, the event offered attendees the chance to unwind over delicious food and drinks while strengthening professional relationships across the industry. A part of the evening was a charity raffle, with all proceeds donated to Kids’ Village, the UK’s first holiday village for children with critical illnesses.
Thanks to the generosity of CISI members and guests, as well as The Grand Hotel and EFG Harris Allday who kindly donated prizes, the raffle raised an impressive £905, which will go directly toward supporting Kids’ Village to build a UK first holiday village for children with critical illness and their families.
Chris Ronan Chartered FCSI – Wealth Manager and committee member of the CISI said
It was a pleasure to be able to help promote and raise funds for such a worthwhile cause. Many thanks to Amy and the Bmet students who volunteered their time to run the raffle and help inform our members about this great local cause.

We were delighted that the CISI chose to run a fundraiser for us at the Summer Social and we’re so grateful to the hard work put in that raised over £900. Events like these really help us get the Kids’ Village story to more people as well as raising much needed funds. A huge thank you to the BMet students who volunteered to run the raffle on the night too.
